U.S. Census Bureau looking for workers in Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The U.S. Census Bureau announced that it's recruiting census takers for temporary positions in preparation for the upcoming 2020 Census.

According to a U.S. Census Bureau press release, pay rates for census takers has increased with a range from $17-$23.50 per hour.

The Census Bureau says the people they hire will work in their own communities, going door-to-door to collect responses from people who don't want to take the Census online, by phone, or by mail.
